| BANDOS 2001 Christmas ornaments Purple and white uniformed marching band member Beachstone mold claybody customized to look like Alison's band uniform by Joan Berkwitz Approximately 60 produced and given as Christmas gifts to band members and friends. Hair colors varied between black, red, brown and blonde. Eye detail also varied quite a bit, being as the eyes were very small and hard to paint! Much of the production work on these, both greenware cleaning and painting was done by Alison Berkwitz. This was probably a one-time project, Joan has NO plans to issue a Christmas ornament each year. *Note: The ornaments actually do not stand up on their own... the photograph was achieved by means of sticky tape. **Further Note: Another release of Bandos was done in 2004 to benefit the band... this time it's Bob and the band traveling to Carnegie Hall to play, a rare honor! The Carnegie Bando was produced in a different color and was offered to the Pour Horse Factory announcement list. |
