Waiting List information

The customer list for pottery ceramic pieces is currently limited to 300 people. Only people who are on the current customer mailing list will be allowed to order the new ceramic horses. A waiting list was created because sometimes customers stop collecting and pursue other interests. When this happens, new customers may be added in. Getting on the waiting list is simple, but it does not guarantee making the customer list. Here's what you do:

• Write the pottery and ask to be added to the waiting list.
• If you get added to the customer list, your only notification will be receiving a mailing. Therefore, let the pottery know if you move!
• Once you have received a mailing, you need to order!

Added Benefits:  If your name is on the waiting list, and an order gets cancelled, Joan may elect to sell that model to someone on the list. While that won't necessarily add you to the customer list, at least you'd get a model at issue price. Being on the waiting list is your only chance of making the customer list.

Reasons the customer list closed

Closing the list for the glazed ceramic horses was a move required to keep quality high and limit the wait to a reasonable period! Pour Horse Pottery is essentially a ONE-person factory. (Joan does ALL the work, from moldmaking, casting, cleaning, painting, shipping, and etceteras..... The only thing she doesn't do is sculpt the pieces!)  This means the wait may be as long as a year for a miniature horse and as long as two years for a larger horse.

If you move...

If you have moved since you last ordered a piece, you are responsible for notifying the pottery! If Joan gets returned mail with "address unknown" on it, you could be removed from the customer list! She can't afford to hire a detective to track you down...

Please read your mailings carefully! The mailings contain information that may be important to you, like order forms, ordering deadlines, auctions, contests and such.
