visits the pottery

In late April, Lesli visited the pottery to work on a custom glazed artist edition of her own sculpture, Loki, done in collaboration with Joan Berkwitz. This Loki is available in this year's NAN auction.

Of course, one can't visit the pottery and not want to play with customizing some actual Pour Horse greenware! Lesli created a number of custom pieces while she was there and they certainly reflect her distinctive artistic style. Joan often confers with Lesli on matters of horse color, knowing that she has researched this perhaps more than any other artist in the hobby today.
