Pour Horse Workshop
Jamboree 2002

PH Boxing Shire, custom bay sabino by Joan Berkwitz (16 KB)
Have you ever wanted to try your hand at painting a bisque ceramic? Joan will be doing two seminars on Friday and Saturday at Jamboree this year. Seminars are scheduled for at least 2 hours each day and cannot be rushed forward, so please make sure you have no time or showing conflicts.

The workshops are limited to 30 people, 15 per day. The fee is $75.00.
NOTE: All sign-ups must go through JAMBOREE.

Each participant will be provided with a brand new bisque Pour Horse Boxing Shire mini along with latex, implements and handouts detailing tobiano and sabino pattern examples. You'll learn how to paint latex masking on your Shire (or Clydesdale) in order to form the white sabino or tobiano pinto markings. Joan will then airbrush all the little drafters in bay, glaze and fire them for you.

AFTER WORKSHOP PICKUPS: Participants must be able to pick up their pieces (or have a friend do so) the next day, the pottery WILL NOT BE SHIPPING THESE and unclaimed horses will be considered abandoned property.

The Jamboree Summer Challenge Show will again be sponsored by the pottery! Awards will be provided by the pottery for Champion Stallion, Gelding, Mare and Foal in the China/Resin division.
