As most of
you already know through the last mailing, there was a ltd. run of the Eriskay Pony mare
"Maggie" in OF rose grey ceramic. Production had to be limited due to problems
with the stance of the piece, i.e. she simply did not stand well without a base. In
addition, her legs were just too fragile for main production. Seventeen pieces in ceramic
were produced, with most available through lottery. Two pieces were also
auctioned at live shows this year, Sunshine State Live and Kalamazoo Valley Live. A third
piece was donated to the 1999 NAN auction and a fourth piece was offered in a sealed bid
auction by the factory. The last piece to be made by the factory will eventually find its
way to the online auction site, eBay.
No date as yet, but the auction
information will be announced both on the PH e-mail list and on the model-exchange.
Offline collectors may wish to contact an online friend to bid for them.
