From Left to right: 1) Original Prototype (non-colored slip). 2) Colored slip prototype 3) Lighter colored
slip prototype (this was used for the mailing). 4) First OFs ("Swirly, No Black" variation). 5) Regular Original Finish run.
We have yet to capture the "Swirlies" on camera, so unfortunately we can't
show you. If you own a swirly, and have managed to capture it on camera,
we would be thrilled to put your photo here.
In the fall of 2004, Joan realized that it would be much more efficient to make one huge batch of the colored slip and cast ALL remaining (about 150) colored slip (and bisque) bodies. So, she made ten production molds, and started casting like a maniac. These had the nickname of the "Terracotta Army", and for pictures and more details,

Please note that they are not terracotta pieces. If you don't know why we called it that, nevermind.
